About me

I am a native French speaker who loves languages. I can translate general texts as well as business and legal documents.

Qualifications

I have got a degree in Applied Language Studies (English and Spanish), and The Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation (from English into French).

Experience

 

 

• 2003 - to date French language tutoring in Swansea area with professional individuals and with small groups;
• 2004 - 2005 Clerical Assistant for E. F. Medical Research, involving liaison with healthcare professionals and interviewers, office administration, order processing and data entry, necessitating a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, occasional translating and interpreting as well.
• 2005 - to date I am also doing some voluntary translation and proofreading work  for the International Alliance of Inhabitants.

Interests

In my spare time I like reading many styles of literature but especially on classical themes. I love travelling as it gives me the opportunity to visit new places, experience new cultures and make new friends. I'm also delighted to have recently completed an advanced scuba diving qualification!
